You see the fare computed from the official tariff before you book. Captains accept it or offer you a discount. It can never go above the meter.

Mansoura official tariff
Flag fall EGP 10, then EGP 5 per kilometre and EGP 0.50 per minute. Minimum fare EGP 15. Between midnight and 5 am a 25% night rate applies, as in the official tariff.
